Whitehouse UMC

Education

Christian education is an important mission of the church, and we offer programs to meet the needs of all age groups.

Our goal is for each child and adult to develop their understanding of the Bible and what it means to be a “Christian.”

All of our programs are open to members and non-members alike.  All are welcome to attend.

Sunday School

We will be offering Sunday School for kids, ages 5-11, on Sunday mornings after Children’s time.   If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Pastor Dianna Stone at any time! Looking forward to “seeing” everyone on Sunday!

Confirmation Class

Prospective confirmands typically go through the confirmation process in either 7th or 8th grade (although the class is open to high school students, as well).   The pastor leads the students through an in-depth study of the United Methodist Church’s beliefs, what it means to be a “Christian,” and the responsibilities involved in church membership.  As part of the process, the confirmands complete a special confirmation project.  Each student has a volunteer mentor from the congregation who guides them through the confirmation experience.  Confirmation typically begins in the fall.  Please reach out to Pastor Dianna if you are interested in joining in this year’s membership process.

The Preschool

The Preschool Board of Directors and the Administrative Council of the Whitehouse United Methodist Church announces the closure of The Preschool at the end of the 2019/2020 School Year.

The Whitehouse United Methodist Church will redirect its energies to alternative missions to serve our community in the future.
