Peter joined WUMC as Director of Music Ministries and Organist in November 2016. After ten years, Peter has moved on and we are currently searching for someone to fill the position.
Karen Williams
Lay Leader
Our Lay Leader is Karen Williams. Karen moved to Whitehouse Station in 1997 and started attending WUMC soon after. Karen officially joined WUMC in 2006 and participated in a number of activities, including serving on Staff Parish. Karen has been splitting her time between the Clinton UMC and WUMC for the last few years as she pursued training to become a Stephen’s Minister. After serving as a Stephen’s Minister with the Clinton UMC for over three years, she returned to Whitehouse United Methodist Church full time last year. Karen has agreed to fill the dual roles of Lay Leader and Staff Parish chair as we work to find ways to continue our ministries and evolve with our new realities.
Karen works as an IT Consultant for Cartesian ltd, specializing in project and program management. Karen and her wife Ginny live in Whitehouse Station.
