Music

Our Music Ministry is an important and integral part of our worship experience. During the 10:00 service, we have an organist to accompany our worship, while the Chancel Choir, led by our Music Director, Eunice Colmon, leads us in song. We sing from the standard Methodist Hymnal, and the songs we sing range from traditional, to praise, to contemporary.
Chancel Choir
Everyone is invited to become a member of the Chancel Choir. All levels of ability are welcome and the only requirement is a desire to sing and praise the lord! Choir rehearsals are held at 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings from September through May. If you have any questions or would like to sing in the choir, please contact Eunice Colmon.
Halleluja Choir
Is our children’s choir, led by our organist, Patty Turse. Boys and girls ages four and up are encouraged to participate. The children’s choir sings approximately once per month. The children rehearse on Sundays after the 10:00 a.m.
Handbell Choir
Dottie Drozdoff is our Director of Handbells and leads two choirs – the Senior Handbell Choir (for adults) and the Junior Handbell Choir (for children). Each choir performs approximately once per month at the 10:00 a.m. service. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 5:00 – 6:00 for the Junior Choir, and 7:00 – 8:00 for the Senior Choir. New handbell players are always welcome!
Special Music
From time to time, musically-inclined members of the congregation share their talents and perform solos, duets, or accompanied pieces. Anyone who likes to sing, play the piano (or violin, or flute – or whatever!) is encouraged and welcome to share their gifts for the glory of God and enjoyment of all.
